Tell Coffman: We Want Jobs Not Cuts

We had a big win last Tuesday — President Barack Obama was re-elected president and it was the voters of Colorado who helped push him over the top. He won Arapahoe County by about 20,000 votes — your votes.

Here’s another great number: from our base in Aurora, the fired-up group of volunteers we were working with knocked on 14,500 doors in the last four days before the election.

So we need to take that incredible energy and channel it into the next phase of this campaign: continuing to fight for jobs not cuts; protecting Medicare and other vital services, and ensuring that the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes.

Know how we can do that? By rallying together to remind our representative to they need to support policies that lift the middle class and working families of Aurora.

Why do we need you to keep fighting with us? Because it’s our voices that will keep reminding politicians that they represent us, not corporations or simply the wealthiest 2%.

We weren’t able to get Joe Miklosi elected to Congress, so that means we need to keep reminding Mike Coffman who his constituents are: the working people, the seniors, the students, and the middle class of Aurora.
